    headed off to sw scotland yesterday about 5 in morning with 2 m8s fishing by 8 started slow then the doggies started comeing in two at a time for a few hours .got sick off then so tryed spinning/ float but not a sniff . set two rods up with big baites 1o mins then bang it to a smoothhound about 6lb then another . mick was in aswell then peter with one about 4lb .mad rush off fish for a hour. then went dead. then the bullhuss started all 3 off us were in at the same time mick had the biggest 8lb all in all good day nice to get old mick back out total was 4 smoothhounds 5 bullhuss .stoped counting after 30 doggiesClick image for larger version

      it will have been pretty wild up there yesterday,surprised you got anywhere near a rock edge ...

        SW Scotland.

        Good report m8 and its well known for doggies there but at least you had a little mix so well done to you and your m8s good luck in your future fishing trips.

          Good report mate.

          I know what you mean about doggies, they're easier to catch than mackeral but after a while less fun.

          What bait were you using for the smoothound.

            smoothhounds were court on peeler crab / muscle . doggies took any think on the hook
