    Totally agree...on the bass thing I would say to anyone who wants to try and catch one to read the theory then go out and try!

    I was spinning for mackerel and pollack near Kirkcudbright in the middle of the day a few years back - ending up taking a nice bass...Was that skill? Absolutely not - but I had to have a line in the water to have half a chance!
