sometimes its about the mark and catching it right best on a dying sea after a big blow obviously the conditions are safe ,clean ground and rough kelpy ground shud produce fish ,but rougher expect tackle loss ,myself i prefer worm baits using a pennel pulley rig ,but crab baits fish certain time a year for bigger fish late summer till early spring fresh or frozen but dont be afraid to use bigger hooks have ya seen the size of a a codlings mouth
