  • Blyth pier

It`s only been up a couple of weeks, but the plack that was put up, for size of fish, has been ripped down.
Some people really p*** me off, they have no respect for nothing.
Then when we ask the authorities to help maintain the pier, they say why should we.....! Can we blame them.......!

    Thats me rant over with.

Well it looks like the silly season has begun, nob heads and there beer cans seem to connect with Blyth Pier, On a Sunday its more like an outing of "BOOZEBUSTERS" And as far as ripping down the plaque go's just show's how little respect they have for society, before long Fergusons Haulage will stop people going on.... the new number 131***is going to be changed and entry will be by FOB or Badge Pass that is supplied by Fergusons and to be showed at the gatehouse any cars not displaying them are going to be clamped by a private firm with a £60 release fee, so thats about it all good things come to an end and only spoiled by the minority

Nothing new and nothing changes, several years ago at Dunstanborough Castle a life preserver(ring) was placed on a wood board mounted on a wood post. The preserver(ring) disapeared and the board and post used for a fire.

I can't see Dunstanbrough being available for us shortly. I've only fished there 7 or 8 times, and EVERY time, I've had to pick litter up. It o ly a matter of time......
A small section of Bulls Nackers spoiling it for the rest of us !!!!
GET OUT THERE AND STICK A BAIT IN IT !!!

It does'nt take the idiots long to mess things up for the majority of the responsible anglers these days.

I think Davy1970 has hit the nail on the head with his comment about respect. Toe rags.

its not just at Blyth it happens all over, shields pier,Roker pier,Rathouse,Glass centre have all had problems with numb nuts drinking setting fires and leaving rubbish.I know it may not be a popular view but a sea fishing licence may be the way forward to stop this type of thing. If you aint got a licence then you cant fish, and if you have a licence and make an arse of yourself by getting p....d and make a mess then you lose that licence.Sounds simple but think it will be hard to police which means it will cost money so it is never likely to happen. My rant over!
