Deal pier south east coast

hi down south visiting family so might have a trip over to deal pier tomorrow. anyone fished it before????? guy in local tackle shop says there's bass off the beach 20 yards out. plenty thornbacks macky and doggys from the end of the pier so gonna give it a go. any info would be much apreciated cheers lads

Never fished there before Baz m8 but it sounds good by the local patter so good luck to you.
