    what would be the best time to target pollock from this mark i fished it last year early june loads of mackeral and a few collies only one pollock all weekend

    June onwards usually m8, with either a spun sandeel or a jellyworm.

    You might want to give Howick a bash, too !!

      hi, i can remember andy rutherford saying in his shop one days he likes to fish up north for pollack earlier than most april he said he liked to fish it early before all the feed moved in makes a bit sense john

        If the sea settles down next week I might just have a drive up next week and have a bit play with the light tackle.

              Got my own pollack mark a bit closer to home that I\'ll be giving a bash in the next few weeks. Silver/blue (or sometimes white) small artificial eels normally do the damage, fished close to the bottom at dawn/dusk.

              Beats the hell out of competing with Chav\'s for the mackerel

                  Aye Rob ,know what ya mean mate ,I was talking to a bloke the other week who was hit on the back of a head by a door hinge being cast by some daft young plonker on Blyth pier.
