No change from last year on Bass for Recreational Sea Anglers , close season and one fish a day (24hrs)
No news on commercial catches yet the meeting in Brussels went on all night.

I believe 5 fish per day Dave for Southern EU bass stock.
That is going around from the Bay of Biscay
So why only one for us, plus a close season? Is it because the UK stock of bass is on the edge of extinction or is it because it has been publicised as being such? If so who's to blame?
we've all seen the spanish or french market's with boxes of small fish ready for the soup pan.
but, punish the english shore angler and that'l solve all the fish stock's.
it's alway's us. a bet all them fishing boat's over there have never been boarded and had there catch checked or had there net gauge checked.
well that's that of me chest, a think you get me drift.....!......
I am not a ' recreational sea angler ' catch it, kill it, eat it. I am a hunter and although I get fun out of angling I do not do it just for fun. When I have enough in the freezer I don't fish anymore. My human rights have been abused. I am also an indigenous north eastern English man. If I was in a tribe in the Amazon jungle and my way of life was being destroyed Sting would be having a concert to help me.
EU can go and get stuffed. DONT FORGET TO VOTE UKIP...!

Who needs fabricated enemies in the EU when you have unelected busybodies like this arguing for bag limits and closed seasons. Two phrases spring to mind: "be careful what you wish for" and the Law of Unintended Consequences...
