hi mate, i live in and fish newbiggin, fish straight down from th first school steps 2 hook rig with mackeral cubes as bait, only need a cast ov 20 yrds guarenteed flatties all day, fished three nights in a row earlier in the week and had 31 fish in total easy fishing and good sport on light gear, hope this helps
