  • Greys nitra replacement tip

Hi gents just a bit of advice plse. I've got a nitra I've just found in cupboard after a few years forgot I had it. The only problem is I've snapped the tip(why it was in there). I fancy using it again but greys said it would cost £40 in handling charges and p&p to get a new tip section. Just wondering can you buy a new one cheaper. If not I'll just send it away for a new one

How much has snapped off ?
A couple of inches won't make much difference to the action of the rod.

That's it m8 £40 for a new tip. Just was wondering any cheaper but I no that it would be second hand. Looks like I'll be sending it to greys when I snapped it I had a match the next day so the shop just cut it to the next eye and put a tip eye on. Told greys this and said there's no prob with replacement that's canny service

Would it not be cheaper to drive to collect it?
