Looking for a new book and fancy something fishing relate, I've read and enjoyed The Codling Crouch before you recommend it. Any ideas ?

Another is simply called "Cod" can't remember who wrote it and can't see it on the shelf, read it and you will realise what we have done to the cod stocks.

Just started reading this - I only found out last week it was written by the brother of a good friend of mine who was staying over for a few days & we came across a copy in the local charity shop. Hope to see the film too, but want to finish the book first!

If it's the demise of the cod industry then it's by Mark Kurlansky - great read but depressing. Good bedside book is .......the Fisherman's Bedside Book, edited by David and Gareth Pownall.
