I'll be surprised if there's a bait shop there mate, it's like the land that time forgot

both tackle shops in carlisle sell mainly trout and salmon gear and do not stock fresh bait. may stock frozen macky but not much else. your better off having a trip into silloth. try the caravan spares shop or the hardware shop around the corner from it. both sell a full range of frozen sea baits.
fresh lug and crab can be collected in the mowbray area a little further down the coast.
