    somebody posted on here a while back that he caught something he wasn't sure about, it turned out to be a sqaut lobster, would appreciate if anybody can point me in right direction so I can get the photo

          that`s a squat, lift the rocks under water, they`l be clinging to the underside of the rock. people actually eat them. ! .

            There are a lot of them under the rocks at seaton sluice but there small. When my mate worked on the prawn boats he used to keep them for me, they taste like a sweeter version of a prawn, lovley. Also tried them for bait but never caught owt on them.

              Only time i see them is when gutting the codling, last year they had 3-4 or more in the gutt along with other crabs and other crusties
