  • Mull of Galloway - where and what ?

As per thread title I may be able to free up a few days within the next two ro three weeks and I am looking at launching a brief assault on the Mull of Galloway.

Most of the fishing I've done in that neck of the woods has been this side of the general area (Sandy Hills/Rockcliffe around Dalbeattie) or further North up around Portpatrick and Loch Ryan.

So where ought I to be looking to fish ?

Good thing about the Mull is that if it blows up from the west there's places to fish on the east and vice versa. Have a look at the maps for likely areas.

The more remote spots tend to get fished less and produce better fish as a rule. Good luck
