Has anyone here ever fished the beach at Newton? Ive only ever fished the skeers. It looks like mixed ground. what sort of species can you expect over summer? Anyone given it a go for cod in winter - looks a good shot on a big north easterly?

never fished the beach myself but know theres flounders and codlings get caught there mate

yeah its newton haven im talking about. Might be better to leve it until winter if its only flatties.Comment

theres plenty of red codlings and wrasse in the summer fishing into the weed mate anywhere around there
