he is no footballer that i know of, Gord is right, lecturer from the marine science and tech department at NU. He's a nice man really, just its his way or the high way and very subjective with his opinions while marking and is massively influenced by "if he likes the individuals" with his markings. If work wasnt wrote the way he would have wrote it, he didnt like it :P thats what i gathered atleast.

well there might be a lecturer called Gary Caldwell but there is also a footballer, he is captain for Wigan and he was a Newcastle United player. If there is a lecturer at Newcastle Uni I don't know him!

My MSc tutor is Clare Fitzsimmons but my Supervisor for the project is Prof. Polunin.

dont know your tutor, but polunin is a great guy little bit nuts but great. Still ride around on his bike everywhere? And always 10 minutes late for the lecutre but over run by 10 too.
