Fishing line fairy!!

hi all
i am new to this forum as most of you know so seems like a good time to have a rant
was out walking the dogs with my daughter today down walker riverside up to international paints and i know this is in the minority but there was a lot of mono lying about down there
the odd bit of line i dont mind because a lot of birds use that for there nests plus there cut offs so theres nowt what can get tangled but today was bad
i found a big nest of bright green mono plus the spool it came off and it looks like the local kids had gotten a hold of it too because it was lashed to two trees across the path so god knows if a bike came by cause it was at least 40lb test and would have took someones head off!
plus further along there was more a big clump of it all wrapped in seaweed and just left some people must think the sodding fishing line fairy must take it all away ive always taken my junk home with me and disposed of it there!
not only that but found two hooks on the stone seats too
dont worry all of it went in the bin
like i said i know this is in the minority but they spoil it for the rest of us

good vent mate, word of warning though, stay clear of the piers and other local 'maki bashing' marks over the summer. The mess will really push you over the edge!!.
