Cambois beach

Spent a bit of time recceing Cambois in the summer to check out possible marks. Familiar with the area around the Ramp and also in front of the big containers.

On the beach itself, does anywhere fish. I was told in front of the houses but from walking the beach it all looks pretty much the same. Also couldn't work out how to get on to the beach from the houses - is there a tunnel under the lines?

Final question - I'm assuming that you want the sea away with it being a pretty shallow beach.

Not after specific info on peoples marks as I like to find them myself, just after general info on the beach itself.

the ramp fishes well with a bit sea on, but people have lost their lives so be careful, take a mate and if the wave's are crashing high up over the ramp give it a miss. if you park at the houses, walk along the fence running parallel with the railway line you come to the tunnel, watch your head, it's 5ft 6. down the bank onto the beach, if you've been in daylight you would've noticed the big set of rock's right in the middle of the beach (roker rock's), fish either side of these.(low water!)

Cheers Davey, appreciate that mate. Yup, seen the rocks - look like they'll give some good shelter on a big south easterly

On the ramp, I guess right at the top (so you're fishing just about from the car-park) should be safe? A couple of times I've been along there the gate near the works has been locked and you couldn't get you car into the car park

it's ok to go down the ramp when the sea's calm, but when it rough's up fishing of the top would be hard going with the sea defence boulder's, mite aswel fish of the sea wall.
they close the gate's to load/unload the train's, you can get in/out when there finished.
