Hi, im back in the region for the next week or so, used to go fishing quite a bit years ago and fancy giving my old gear a run out this week. I'll be looking to fish anywhere between Blyth Pier and Seaton Sluice. Any tips on marks fishing well and the best baits / gear to use? Cheers, Craig

rag, lug tipped with macky or bluey, find the holes 2 get the better stamp of fish.

I was at St Mary's fishing the skier to the left of the causeway this morning.
Took three rods and ended up fishing just one because the wind was so strong.
Missed two clonking bites and eventually pulled a little bass in about 10 inches long. Gutsy little begger took a big mackerel bait on a 4/0 pennel pulley rig
If that wind drops I'll be back out again this evening - St Mary's or the Sumps more than likely.
I'm leaving the big rods at home now and just fishing a pair of bass rods - loads more fun in all respects
Good luck !
