If you look closely you'll see it's red spots and bumps behind its gill.

Sorry mate but i also think it's a flounder. The tail looks to be square but on a plaice it is more rounded.
The red spots can be confusing though as they can also be found on flounder at times.
Good luck on the plaice hunt though.

Sorry ryo123 but I agree they are flounders. Flounders often have spots. Have a look at this link LRSAC Official Website The bumps along the lateral line confirm they are flounders too as the lateral line on a plaice is smooth.
