Gonna buy a rucksack for the start of september instead of usin a box.
Want it for all aspects ie rocks, pier, cliffs etc.
Lookin to spend about £50
Dont want one of them massive parachute things.
Any reccomendations/help appreciated.

Ive just got an army issue Bergen off our kid its big but comfortable as owt mate. They are expensive new but if ya know anyone in the army they should be able to get ya one on the cheap or even for nowt. When I asked our kid he had a spare...... Ideal

As Alan says the army ruck sack is good I've had mine for years and for the long walks to marks in the summer there's nowt better if you can get one cheap enough. Also have the greys apollo which is good for beach fishing can hang it from your rod rest and move it with the tide also has a plastic waterproof base so if you do have to touch wet sand with it it won't hurt.

am with you on the bergan mines over 10 years old its done 2 backpacking trips round Europe n gets hammered every year when am carp fishing get a couple of clip on side pouches n its huge holds everything including the kitchen sink and more its just the dogs
