  • Caravan Rocks....?

    Has anybody fished Caravan rocks, I think that's what they are called anyway. Presumably it's best fished couple hours before and couple hours after the high water. It's a decent tide tomorrow afternoon so I was thinking of giving it a go.

    where are you thinking of mate? ive never heard of caravan rocks

      It's in between the private beach and creswell Carr's, directly behind those larger homes.

        sorry mate i cant help you, when you said caravan rocks i thought you meant near st marys, cresswell is a place ive never fished though i'd like to try the private beach sometime. im sure some other lads on here will help you

          only fished the carrs and private beach a few times, but only at low water

            Seen it throw few fish out in dark,big tides couple hours over high water as you say.Really needs a bit colour and movement in the sea.Cant remember that marks traditional old name definately had one days gone by,sure it was something do with the big old house there.

              Called private rocks it was written on the rocks behind the house presumably by the owner at the time , high water mark take care if any sea on ,

                fishes well after the rough has died off, if your staying up there best have a good look in daylight, best fished after dark so would'nt go aloan.

                  Also called limpet rocks you need a bit sea running. high water shot but dont fish it alone in the dark. Has been known to throw the odd pig out.
