Not sure what you mean by an account but go ahead if you think it's useful.

I doubt we need many rules really, just something basic like this....

            1. Catch as many different species of sea fish as possible. Each species type scores one point on the table.
            2. All fish must be caught by rod and line from the shore. Any tactics, baits or lures may be used. Fish caught by boat/kayak etc are not eligable.
            3. Fish can be caught anywhere within the UK.
            4. The challenge ends at midnight December 31st 2012.
            5. To register a fish post a photograph of it on this thread with the 2012 card also in the picture.

            What do you reckon?

Just a note to say any lure caught fish with pictures taken with this card WILL be admissible to the lure challenge, save taken 2 pictures.

                            Good luck

I'm in for this hunt too, I've already had 6 species this year (names of these species on my signiture).

The way I see it pictures should be properly shown on thread, not just added as a daft attachment to a post. My buddy wheres-the-fish?, your card scheme is a very good idea as this will prevent any possible 'cheaters' from posting pics of fish from an earlier date, as the card must be visable with the fish to make the picture legible.

Thunderpants, your species hunt league table is also a great idea, as this will help keep peoples species tallys in check without confusion. All in all the whole idea of the NESA species hunt is a great idea and a good way to get members together on here for a bit banter.

So just agian for the record, count me in!
