      if you look closely lads a think you`l find thats bates staithes in blyth, and on the other side of the water is the stockpile of roadsalt. if am not mistaken this fish has been tagged, it has been caught and released many times up the river.

                  Unbelievable fish and says only 15 mins for him to boat it.

                  Shame really though to bump something like that over the head, record or not I would try and return a fish like that. Bit of respect for something that has managed to evade getting caught and to grow that big would not go amiss.

                    Yeah m8 the problem is a increasing number of anglers are only to willing kill magnificent fish such as this, I bet no one give any thought to the TEN'S of THOUSAND'S of eggs this fish will have been carrying, fish like this are so important and deserve to be returned alive.
