    Anyone else see them last night? Around 9pm and 1am.Amazing!!!

    Huge one passed straight above me at 9.40 heading south,amazing sight, asked bloke fishing 50 yards away what he thought about it and he said he thought it was a flare and dialled 999 ,lol.

      Yep! 9.40 I was on the 5 at seaham north pier and saw it go straight over! Never seen owt like it. Fishing was rubbish btw, whiting, small doggie.

        was down taking photos of the rainbow, had just pressed camera button for a long exposure shot when it went over, otherwise might of got a shot of it

          Sure did, me and the Ancient Mariner (he's not old, just very cursed) saw them from Seaham pier. I'm amazed we managed to catch a glimpse as our field of vision was blocked out by the vast pile of fish we had caught....oh no, wait a minute thats just in my imagination!!

            The youngun came in last night about half 10 raving about this shooting star/ meteor like, he said it was amazing they seen it down the skate park on sea front.

                  it was on hell of a sight a was fishing the qe2 in ashington and it passed there never seen awt like it the two blokes a was with havnt seen 1 like that before either was really low
