  • st abbs???

    Thinking about heading to st abbs nxt weekend try my luck up there, anyone any help on bait, rigs, spots etc been up there in summer just with spinning gear, any help would b greatly appreciated

      hey never say never ..had a trip there other year wasnt bestest of sessions but it produced a wolffish for me mate ..they are out there ..ya never know ya might get the fish of a lifetime if not its a good day out in my eyes

          wouldnt expect owt but fish baits with a short lob ar norm the best plus if ya get nowt you wont fish a more scenic place gud luk.

              too right m8 its deffo 1 of me fav spots. lyk ya say beats lukin owa the tyne ha a was there early last year n didnt do owt 4 me still managed t lose 7 hours even without a bite ha ha it just looks n smells like your guna get 1 at any min ha hope you get sumit owt pal

                    Was up there last week, caught nowt between three of us .. Had a few bites.
                    Water is still crystal clear ,might be worth spinning for winter coalies?

                      wardens dont like you up there in march and april as it is the nesting season for protected birds dont forget this is a nature reserve,any bit of sea waste of timefar better wait till may to september where you will get some cracking fish to all methods. davy.
