    seems really cheap at £34-99 for 1000m, thinking of trying some.

    yup! bought some last year, I ordered 50lb but 80lb arrived. I love it. Its very soft and supple so lays on the reel very well. Even though its 80lb its proably thinner than 30lb mono, so I kept it and used it. The knots hold really well, and I was abit worried about that initially, but every snag I had brojke the end gear and the knot held. So much so that I had the same snap link on for months!
    Best braid I\'ve tried anyway
