Had my new avet out for a few casts 2day this reel got 2 be the best reel I have ever had,very smooth and cast great and feels well made a lot beta made than my saltist, am not a great caster but I think I managed 100yds with it that about the same I get with my saltist 20 so very happy indeed

AHH! thats where it all began for me and got hitched into fishing 2lb sticklebacks them days on a branch and cotton 2 matchsticks for a float .... garden wormz was top bait then ..and found they work to catch cod also ...tight lines

Hi mate. Did you try different mag settings? I found pos 3 was spot on after a few casts.

I put it on 1 and give it what for, it flew out very impressed and surprised how good it went out next time am out I be trying all the settings
