  • Sea Floats

    Hi All
Booked a Caravan over at Clashwhannon, Drummore, Mull of Arglye, for a week in july Hope to do a bit fishing, maybe float fish for Pollack ect. Would these floats do the job they are 5inch. Never done any sea float fishing so any tips - advice would come in handy.

should be fine if the sea calm.

slightly longer is better if theres a chop on.

They're decent, foam inside. I use the Savage gear floats, very solid for hitting against rocks.

Never get the type that is 50/50, black and yellow or black and orange which are also plastic. they do one of 2 things. pop when your pulling a fish in on the rock or just snap in half if you flick them out to hard lol.
Species: Cod, Bass, Coalie, Flounder, Dab, Rockling, Mackerel, Plaice, Pollock, Ballen Wrasse, L/S Scorpion, Common Blenny, Weaver (unfortunately), Whiting, Common Eel, Trout, Pike... think that's it
