      sounds like a plan, that walk over the golf course kills me with all me gear lol kitchen sink n al. Think i'm guna take the tt light and my spinner next time. light as owt !

        well we kmow the area a bit better now so we wont have to walk from the harbour this time. haha. travel extra light thats the trick.

          Have a look at Shakespeare Salt Flattie, £30, Fuji rings and fittings, 1-3oz casting and great for floating/spinning. Used it this year but not as much as I hoped but got no doubts it will be what your looking for for Eyemouth etc

          one of the results



          and if it doesn't work out there's always the other sport

            |If you dont want to go for a carp setup take a look at the AFAW lure and bait range. They are cracking rods, carbon fibre not carbon, lightweight strong, and can handle themselves nicely. I have the 60-90grm one and its spot on.
