Following abuse of the \".cibs\" photo upload faciility, I thought I\'d best issue a reminder..........

The upload facility provided by Mark is for the SOLE purpose of uploading photos to be posted on THIS site.

It is NOT to be used as a means of posting pictures on ANY OTHER site.

The recent problems (MAJOR PROBLEMS) resulted from the .cibs uploader being used to post photos on another site.......the server it runs on then suffered an \"attack\" and consequently needed a HUGE amount of time & effort to rectify.

not guilty but a few questions if i may ?

once a pics been uploaded on the cibs does it need to stay there to be viewed on the board ?

just a suggestion here but couldnt you add a pic section and people could add a link to it in there posts then once everyones had a look see mark could clear out the cibs once a month,theres probably a few in there that havent been posted due to errors or forgetting file names

once its uploaded it has to stay there to be visible on the board.

Apart from the hassle factor of deleting stuff every month or, It would be nicer IMHO if the stuff was just \'there\' for always. Some people do search through the site looking at old stuff, and its always nice if the images are still there.

you\'re right about one thing, there was loads of stuff there that hadn\'t been posted for whatever reason (well at elast I\'d never clocked em on here anyway)

doesn\'t bother me that folks might want to use it for other stuff aaprt from here particularly, ie andys board, but using it in order to save 15p for hosting a picture on ebay is a bit cheeky.

Unless of course the 15p went in the kitty!
