Davy, was pretty crap up here as well, plenty 1&1/2 to 2&1/2lb fish and a good few over 5-6lb but there was a distinct lack of 3-4lb fish which are usualy the norm up here. also never heard of any big uns this season.biggest in a comp was about 11lb. prefer lbs and ozs for the fishing but metric all the way for my work (joiner) imperial sucks on that front (still call all the regular sized timbers by there imperial name though) 9x2 8x2 6x2 etc
I think its been a lot better than last year and you\'ve got to take the sea conditions into consideration\' when the sea has been away over the last month there\'s been some cracking fish caught \' now from october through the new year we had nothing but westerlies and flat seas and plagues of whiting not good codding conditions and i think if we had good seas in the first half of the season there would have been a lot of personal bests this year.
no comment as it would be unprintable ,3 codling to over 2LB and nowt else but whiting,my first season back in the sport after 15 years off so i suppose i shouldnt grumble
