    hi guys and girls

As you migh notice im new to the forums and sea fishing.I just started fishing summer last year where i was fishing at blyth jetis and cambois side aswell.never cuaght nothing but it was fun never the less.and i fished at sandy bay were i caught 4 flatties witch i was realy happy about.just woundering do you get many fish caught at blyth jetis as im not up for trying the pier yet as im not confident enough.i currently live at bedlington and blyth is very easy for me to get to same with sandy bay.So would you guys suggest keep fishing at the jetis befor tackling the pier.

Hello mate and welcome to NESA. By all means keep fishing the jetties if you enjoy it. Nothing to stop you trying the pier though as a lot of new anglers start there. It is an easy place to learn as you do not have to be able to cast far to be into deep water.
When I first started I used to fish both Roker and Blyth piers before moving onto the rocks and beach. Most anglers would be happy to help you if you were not sure about something.
This is a great place to pick up tips and info so don\'t be afraid to ask.

    Jim.

dgraham, Mr bones will probably give you some good info on fishing around the jettie\'s mate.

Hi dgraham, welcome to the site

ANY info / advice you need just ask........there\'ll be no shortage of sound advice.

Dunno how many times I\'ve said this, but it still applies.........

ANY questions you might have (no matter how daft or basic you might think they are).........just ASK. We all start off knowing bog all (and errmm.....some of us have stayed that way....lol).

Nobody will regard a basic question as \"daft\" and the members will be only too happy to help you out. That\'s what the site\'s all about.
