    can anyone recommend anyone for casting lessons. does anyone know how much they cost etc.

          From what I understand mate bobs lessons are free

                  Bob is a legend! His lessons are free but you won't need many. The way he teaches you, you'll benefit straight away. OTG casting in the first session then you can go back to learn the pendulum after lots of practice. If you're fishing beaches you'll get loads out of the session, OTG or pendulum isn't safest on piers or crowded riversides. Well worth it though.
