  • A tip light tip

I was enlightened to this handy tip today by my mate eddy who was showed by a lad on Blyth beach.
All you need is cheap lighters, the type with the light in them.
This is one of them with the light and batteries in it. then take a small screwdiver and remove the srew from the bottom of the lighter and remove the bottom.
Then take a small flat screwdriver and pry out the little black button out by pushing it in to the lighter and the battery and diode should come out in one piece finally wrap some electrical tape around the batteries making sure that the contact is taped in correct the position so that the light is on.
And you can still use the lighter if you are a smoker.

    UNIT taped with light on

Best way to make them watertight in the rain is wrap them in a bit cling film. Works a treat for me. I got 50 LED lighters off ebay for 15 quid, they'll last me for months and months. I can get a few sessions off one LED light.
