    Can anyone let me know if it's possible to repair a rod that's been stood on?

      It's basically splintered it and if any weight is put on it it 'snaps'

        what rod is it and whereabouts on the rod is the damage? tip butt top middle or bottom

          It's a Browning activate arx 3600. It's damaged in the middle. You can't notice the damage unless you bend it

            You may get away with useing epoxie and fiberglass wrap if thats the but section . Il epoxie it back together let it dry then friber glass wrap it with some 10mm chop mate bandage .

              If you dont want to do it il give you a thener for the rod

                hi mate is this one if so just buy a new one save you the misfortune of losing a good fish to a damaged repaired rod plus saves you the chew of repairing and you'll have spares for your new rod..

                  It's a bin job I'm afraid - would never trust that rod again either chucking or with a fish on, no matter how much it was "repaired".

                      That's what I thought but the bloke who broke it is paying and he's on the dole so was trying to keep the cost down for him.
