    planning on fishing the groyne tommorow does anyone know how its fishing? never heard it mentioned for a while, cheers

        any ideas on bait and rigs i would usualy fish a big crab baiat maybe on a rotton bottom but ive got no crab at the minute

            Take some mussel, don\'t be afraid to use small hooks there are some good dabs of the end

                Not such rough groung if you cast parallel to beach but chances of codling are improved if you cast straight out or into river. distance can help here sometimes so vary casting. As has been said by Sless - worm baits are fine but take some mackeral for tipping if whiting are about - better them than nothing! Post how you get on m8. Best of luck
