Century SS cracking rod I got mine for £160 as new not a Mark on it. Beach Light House pier river with a 525 or 535 or sl30sh can't go wrong.

m4 evo is 20% stiffer than m4 its 13ft 6ins butt diameter is about 24.5mm and 2 equal sections great beach rod.

Carbon metal crest is J curve rod and stiffer than the carbon metal which is more of a C curve rod butt diameter is about 26mm. The carbon metal has a longer tip than butt section so the tip bends smoothly in the cast.

The crest will handle anyfishing you will ever do I had one. Even lifting fish up rocks or pier walls. Century are pretty tough rods.

m4 evo tho great for mixed ground beach fishing had some good fish on mine from lynemouth this season upto 6lb handled them no bother.

Thought the Crest was a C curve rod and the Carbon Metal was a J curve?

Iv had a tippy sort and your looking at 160 for a good 2nd had rod. As for the zippy your looking at 200 to 250 and i like me zippy m4 Evo better its a class rod mint bite detection and light as. Best rod iv owened just hold on till 1 cums up mate

tt sport as above up to 160depending on condition . u can get it cheaper than that tho . again rod selection depends on what u want from a rod . as recommended the tt is an all rounder. they are more rods in the market that will cater to different aspects /criteria of what anglers look for in a rod. some rods are stiffer, some are easier to load. some are just more manageable than others. try the tip tornado sport, once u feel that you want more than that in rod then go the next step. hope this helps. u r welcome to try mine if u ever fish horden/roker when i do .

The best use of a zziplex rod would be to unblock your drains not much for anything else! Go for century or conoflex zzippies r overrated rubbish
