  • Craster Harbour

    Alreet,

Anyone had any luck at Craster Harbour on either spinners or light gear?

Heading up there camping in a few weeks and was wondering if it's worth a couple of hours before hitting the Jolly Fisherman for a couple of jars.

Going to hit the castle for a proper session the next day, just need something to do on the day of arrival.

    Any advice/info would be great.

    Cheers.

Agreed ... keep off the bottom as it is pretty snaggy just outside the harbour mouth. Should have lots of fun with a float our lad caught 26 in one session when he was about 10 years old. Camping at Proctors Stead I take it coz The Cottage Inn is a good alehouse too

Good stuff, cheers watersedge! Sounds like a plan here like! And aye, staying at Proctors Stead, we'll pop into The Cottage Inn for one (or more), can foresee a sore head the next day but the walk to the castle should sort that!
