Just copying this for maximum publicity:

OK Gentlemen - it's only 6 days to the comp so here's a summary of the event so nobody misses out.

Everyone must register before the comp. Registration opens at 6.00. The registration and weigh in is at BOTAC's club house on the sea front in the middle of Tynemouth sands - post code is NE30 4JH. Be aware it's pay and display.

Boundaries are open as long as legal but you must join the weigh in queue by 11-00. Anyone catching a 19lber will be the subject of intensive questioning lol. Remember - no wrasse or rocklings.

I'll be holding the money - it's £5 for the heaviest fish and £5 for the heaviest bag. All money paid to the winners.

Remember the comp's 7.00 - 10.30.

My plans are to arrive in Cullercoats on Friday morning, dig bait, fish Friday night and repeat this on Saturday. Not very interesting I admit but it does mean I will be unattainable from Thursday tea time so, as I have no mobile phone or web access, if , after Thursday, you need information, want your name put down or have to drop out, can you pm Sless and he'll have a copy of the team lists so we don't hang around for non attenders.

Just checked the forecast & it's saying a 5.5ft northerly swell, dropping from 9ft on friday night, so could be some good bags (if the forecast's right)!

any one who is not familier with the club house coming from tyne tunnel or newcastle area its straight down coast road till you come to park hotel turn right and its 50 yards to the right in front of the boating lake ,as stores saysparking patrol still active till 7 or 8 .best of luck every one davy.
