My neighbour has just given me one of these, buts its not in good condition, all varnish protection is wearing off and need a new eye whipping on.

Could I do anything with it and has anyone every refurbished one of these?

I will post a picture in a bit, dunno the mark of it but appartently 6-9oz casting weight

yep stan (fish fingers) he has taken my rod into care has it had been badly abused with cod shud be back home sometime next week

your right trev it should be in a care home it has well been abused more chips in the blank than your local chippy lol but i wish i had as many fish on my pole as what this 1 has had for you
