    is there a certain way to get these off the bottom of your rod?

        pour boiling water over it mate softens the rubber for a while should come off easy

          Yours may be glued on mate. You could always try and cut it off but I'd advise not too just in case you accidently damage your rod in the process. Try putting it in some hot water for a few minutes, then drying it and then try to pull and twist. Worked for me the last time mine got stuck on me rod.

            if you need it off try and use a thin flat nose screw driver and push it in and work it round,worked a treat wi mine,then i lost it and had to but a new one!!!!

              ill cut it off im not bothered, got a few spare ones, i just need to change the sliding reel seat

                    well iv got the broken reel seat off, just need a new one put on as the one i had is to small by about 2mm
