Hi all.
Gotta big grin on me face now, my new rod arrived today and its absolutely stunning. Its the Century Eliminator E1000, 14ft 7inches of pure Century power and magnificence. (Need a slap as am going daft with the lack of sal****er I've had recently...)
Had a load of people saying these rods are crap and so on (not arsed a rod is a rod when the likes of Century are concerned ), but I was very supprised when I put it together earlier and felt how stiff it was... it is a beast! , very stiff butt section and tip section, to put it in words, it actually feels stiffer than my maroon TTR Big Danny that I sold for to get this rod... definately my type of rod the Eliminator. It will do very well on rocks and piers hauling in those big coddies (hopefully ), looks to be a very good casting rod too.
Going to have a good go of the rod on sunday at a quite location on the pier, just a bit practice casting away from the hustle and bustle up the pier...
Heres a few pics of the stunner!
(Sorry for pic quality, me phones good, but camera on it ****e)
(P.S. Am gonna try and not fall over again with this one!!! )
