    ive heard of them getting caught from blyth to Tynemouth and fancy trying for one tomorrow morning from 6am down to low water,thinking bluey--mackerel-squid,from either Hartley--whitley-cullercoats off rocks,anyone had any from these areas ?.seen one caught from crisps gully a couple of years ago but with the seal huggers on the island think ill give there a miss.there does seem to be more showing up on our coast for some reason

    odd ones turn up quiet often localy a few on Tynemouth pier,had 2 off Hartley island and a couple off the crescent,whitley pipe throws a few out as well,you can take your lure rod as well and try for Pollock and macky. davy.

          Was plenty caught on roker pier and the ratty last year

            I've just seen on the locker, there was one caught at Jarrow, pedestrian tunnel, today!

              Loads last year on Seaham north pier. They were a nuisance at times.
