i have an 8ft abu up to 24g spinning rod. lite as a feather and great spor. got it from glasgow angling last yr it was the last one in stock ...so far so good. truly enjoyed playing fish on it . have a carp rod too to use for the heavier spinning stuff. why dont u go to a tackle shop and see what they say ? having said that i completely ignored whateva the guy at glasgow was trying to sell me lol...Punch and pull then let rip
