Going to have shot over low water jackies beach rifle ranges area probs be a blank and huge tackle loss like last two outings but this time of year is worth a shot for a big 1. All the best.

well i aint going to get anything tonight, was about to phone my wife and ask her to take crabs out freezer ready for me getting back from work and luckily realised i ran out of thread on my last session. They the last of my crabs asell would of been a waste, might try souter point or wherry tommorow afternoon. 21lb cod taken off white rock quite a few year ago now,but sure there was a bigger fish taken from the wherry since then.

i weighed the fish and took photos that were in the sea angler magazine the lad, lance who caught the 17lb fish got £300 prize
he gave me the sea angler hat

it was graham ali who had one 21 lb on mackerel strip
alan chapmans fish was 26 lb i think

I seem to remember Alan Chapman's big cod from White Rock was 28lb 8oz, he came to the South Shields club hut with it after our match that day.
It was a few year ago and all I can remember was how big it's eye's were, about the size of tennis balls
