I read sopmewhere that Spear & Jackson make excellent forks which are perfect for digging.
"And I looked, and behold'a pale horse; and his name that sat on him was death, and hell followed with hi, and power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword and with hunger, and with the beasts of the earth"

cant see much difference between them and a heavy duty bar the tines are longer, look a bit flimsy to me

hmm typing in bold again ?

Sorry can\'t find the place where I got mine. I contacted Spear & Jackson and asked them for the potato fork and they put me on to a company somewhere down devon way. I found this one

                            http://www.grovelands.com/acatalog/Spear_and_Jackson_Neverbend_Professional_Tools.htm l

This is different from mine in that it has a plastic handle - my one has the wooden \"T\" handle which makes it so much stronger. Not that I have had much chance to use it with these winds, should be good for the fishing - Sea looking perfect up here in Scotland, Boodin tomorrow I think.
