    Lynemouth beach,just had a run down and theres a nice sea on,sorry no photo ,just might help if your thinking going for a hoy the night .

    Lynemouth is one of them spots that fishes its tits off but never when i am there lol, i think i have had 1 good day/night there in over 12 trips but mates have had some cracking trips with good bags, i am sure it will be busy when that sea drops off alittle bit.

        It is a strange mark Scott, it seems to come on and fish like mad then the next time nothing or just a few small coalies, guess its a case of either getting lucky and hitting it at the right time or having a good understanding of the mark and knowing when it will fish.

        I dont like fishing it because of the problems with cars being damaged and that now, but i always like the spot just shouts out cod when i look at the beach and rocks.

            Agree with that remark Canman, dying sea tons of colour left and fish, these conditions remind me of Lyneburn's former days when the water was always black with the waste from the colliery.

                Fished it all me life ,never had a problem with car, even before you could park in the car park,its more safer now an its ever been.but it dont matter ware you go ,you take a chance ,if you dont ya wont get fishing,its always been a hit n miss beech ,but when it fishes ,the fish tend to be good stamp of fish.

                  Same fished this beach for years and only a couple of seasions have been minti remember going onto the beach at about 11pm and 1 bloke walking off with 14 decent fish and guess what i caught sweet fukk all

                    Aye ive had 3 trips up before xmas and came away with a 4lb half and 5lb great catching cod from the beach. cant see me getting up there tonight as i dont finish work til 9pm and back up at 6am for work tomorrow but will get out some where to fish the high water till 2am

                      strange place it can be! back in the early 90s there was a plague of small thornback rays hundreds of them , never to be seen again so i gather jim
