Think a six pounder won it that came from Blackhall, couple of lads from Whitby had codling to 2.8 lb, think there was only four codling weighed in.

fish from blackhall was about 4.75 lb. he won it .

2nd and 3rd where codling of 3lb + and 2 lb + from the whitby lads.

wayne hariman was 4th with around 2lb but i think it may have been a big flounder.

and 5th was around or just under 2lb again i think this was a flatty or something. ( i may be wrong)

i seen 3 codling weighed in.

the bag weights got won with flattys also.

i fished north of fox holes and i had 2 flats both 30cm + for about 1.5lb but could of done with another to get into the wonger.

only 2 bites of the day. rest of the time the doggers where stripping ya.

was expected to be sh ite like given the conditions. and crap tides.

never mind we will try again next year.

Didnt help the fishing with the tide from high to low. Fished the twelves mark on Easington beach not even a bite. Only saw two very small dabs on the whole beach. Diabolical for the numbers fishing.
