  • mates catch lastnite ?

    a pal of mine went fishing last night and sent me a picture of his catch.
    anyone clear up what fish it is?(we are novice to the sport)

    Looks like a Rays Bream to me mate. An unusual catch on rod & line.
    Where was he fishing???

      i thought i hadnt seen many of them been weighed in at comps like ha ha ha

            Looks fresh out the water very shiny still..

            Ive seen pics of 4-5 of these caught this year.. Been one or 2 off horden and a 5lber which if i remember right was off lynmouth

                            You won't have seen any weighed in in any comps because there banned lol due to the fact they beach themselves, people have said even if ya find 1 still flapping about and ya return it to the water it will only beach it's self again.
                            Supposed to taste quite nice tho.
