Is SS pier open yet

Hi lads had a request from an angler who lives in scotland about the pier, basically he wants to know if the pier is open to the public now on a day time as he fancies a visit to fish from it soon.

He can't climb around the gate as he has had a heart attack in the past. Thanks for any info and if it's still shut does anyone know when it may re-open?

It is open now mate providing the weather aint to bad.

Can imagine it being closed with wind today m8. Was yesterday. We had to climb round. Probs be ok 2morro. Going of wind!
